I am writing to you this morning at 4:30 am, yes I actually said 4:30 am. It is the infamous day of the NH primaries! This is the anticipated day that concludes all of our hard work and tireless efforts! Our job today is to orchestrate visuals all over Nashua and persuade and excite the voters, particularly the still undecided ones, to give their vote to Senator John Kerry. The energy is so intense and elevated today! The last 9 days have truly been an eye opening experience and I have learned and experienced first hand the efforts and jobs of the people that devote their lives to running a campaign for the candidate they believe in! I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be exposed to the intricate operations of grassroots campaigning and the NH primaries! I cannot wait for the votes to be tallied this evening and confirm my predictions that Senator Kerry will take NH by storm. There is no amount of cold weather or snow, which is actually predicted to begin falling this afternoon, that can crush our spirits today!! Have a great day everyone!

Another long day of going door to door in -3 degree weather today. I am convinced that there is no amount of layers of clothing that will protect you from the brutal winds of the northeast. The only advantage of windburn is that if you get it bad enough it can sometimes look like a tan!! The canvassing done today was especially difficult because of the weather and we found that people were not as receptive to us because we were disrupting their quiet and restful Sunday afternoons. Those kind people that took the time to speak with us were mostly supporters of Kerry and assured us that he had their vote on Tuesday!
Senator Kerry gave an incredible speech today at the Nashua High School. The amount of people that showed up to attend was amazing and the staff ended up turning people away because the auditorium was filled to its capacity. Our Nashua team was overjoyed at the unexpected amount of supporters that came from all over New England to hear the Senator speak. I had the priveledge of speaking to one of the voters after the speech and was thrilled to hear her reaction and opinions to his speech. It is so wonderful to experience first hand the emotions of voters. According to the recent polls Kerry has a significant lead over the rest of the candidates which has our team extremely ecstatic about the primaries on Tuesday. Unfortunately the weather has a little surprise in store for the already freezing Floridians. It is expected that there will be about an inch of snow on the ground by Tuesday morning!! This recent update in the weather predictions should give an already intense day an interesting twist.

Good Morning! I had quite the eventful day yesterday! The Kerry campaign office in Nahsua was overflowing with volunteers from all over the country. Scott Wolf was there along with Senator Kerry's brother to give us a pep talk before hundreds of us went outside to do some door to door canvassing. I met some very interesting people from the Senator's staff in Washington D.C. and learned quite a bit from their experiences with the Senator. The majority of the day was spent going door to door and asking undecided voters who they were swaying towards for the primaries and attempting to convince them to vote for Kerry. We are off for another day of canvassing!

It has been quite the week up here in NH! Yesterday was a particularly eventful and exciting day for all of the campaigns becuase of the debate that was scheduled for yesterday evening. In support of our candidate, the Kerry campaign offices around the state gathered together with members of the community and people from numerous fire houses to join forces at the college where the debate was being held and do an enormous visual. Kerry arrived on a huge bus and our people started going crazy. He took the time to walk down the line and attempt to shake everyones hand and thank them for their support, which I thought was wonderful. Senator Kerry was led the way and was followed by an army of his supporters screaming and cheering all the way down the hill. The evening became a sign war with other campaigns and at times was very intense. After the rally we gathered at a restaurant/bar called the Black Brimmer in Manchester to have a debate watch party. The place was filled to the max with Kerry's supporters which turned out to be an excellent way to get to meet other people that shared similar political views. As a result of the sardine like atmosphere, it was very difficult to hear the television so I missed a large portion of the debate. Although we stood in the absolute freezing cold for almost 2.5 hours, I am so glad that I was able to be a part of something so meaningful. It was a great learning experience that truly confirmed the fact that there is definite power in numbers. The countdown is on until the primaries on Tuesday. I am confident that through the efforts of our office in Nashua along with the other offices spread across the state, our candidate the wonderful Senator John Kerry will be victorious! Hope you are all enjoying the nice and sunny weather in Florida. I hear it is supposed to only get colder up here!

Good Morning!
